Professor Hongwei Wu (FIMechE, FRAeS, FEI) is a full Professor of Thermofluids in the School of Physics, Engineering and Computer Science, and Leader of the Research Group in Monitoring Climate and its Impact (MCI) at University of Hertfordshire. Professor Wu is a Chartered Engineer (CEng) and a Fellow of esteemed organisations such as the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (FIMechE), the Royal Aeronautical Society (FRAeS), the Energy Institute (FEI), and the Higher Education Academy (FHEA). He is a Royal Academy of Engineering Academic Champion, a visiting professor at East Kazakhstan State Technical University, and a member of the UK Turbulence Consortium. He received his BEng, PhD (Joint PhD Programme with the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology - HKUST) in Thermofluids all from Beihang University. He has an academic and research profile previously developed at Northumbria University, University of the West of Scotland, Birmingham University and Brunel University London in UK, as well as at the University of British Columbia & University of Alberta in Canada.
Pascal Lorenz

Research Interests: Internet of things; public key; unmanned aerial vehicles; cloud computing, energy consumption; vehicular networks; wireless sensor networks; optimization algorithm; block-chain technology; communication links.
Pascal Lorenz received his M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Nancy, France, in 1990 and 1994, respectively. From 1990 to 1995, he was a research engineer with World FIP Europe and Alcatel-Alsthom, Boulogne-Billan-court, France. His research interests include QoS, wireless networks, and high-speed networks. He was a Technical Editor on the IEEE Communications Magazine Editorial Board from 2000 to 2006. He has been a Technical Editor of IEEE Network since 2015 and IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology since 2017. He is an Associate Editor for the International Journal of Communication Systems (Wiley), the Journal on Security and Communication Networks (Wiley), the International Journal of Business Data Communications and Networking, and the Journal of Network and Computer Applications (Elsevier). He is an IARIA Fellow and a member of many international program committees. He has organized many conferences, chaired several technical sessions, and given tutorials at major international conferences. He was an IEEE Com-Soc Distinguished Lecturer from 2013 to 2014.

Professor Chen received his Ph.D. degree in Power and Control, from University of Durham, England, he has been a full Professor with the Department of Energy Technology, Aalborg University, Denmark since 2002. He is the leader of Wind Power System Research program at the Department of Energy Technology, Aalborg University. His main current research interests are wind energy, power electronics, power system and modern energy systems. He has led many international and national research projects and has more than 800 technical publications. He is a panel member and a review expert for many international funding organizations. Professor Chen is a member of editor boards of many international journals, including Associate Editor of the IEEE Transactions on Power Electronics, Subject Editor (wind turbine control) of IET Renewable Power Generation, etc. He is a Fellow of IET, a Chartered Engineer in the U.K., a Fellow of IEEE, a Member of Danish Academy of Technical Sciences.
Yang Han
Professor, University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, China.
Research Interests: New energy power system coordination and control technology; smart grid control; modern urban power grid power quality analysis, monitoring and governance technology; power system equipment digital modeling; modern urban power grid planning and simulation calculation.
Professor Yang Han graduated from the Department of Electrical Engineering of Shanghai Jiao Tong University in October 2010 and received a doctorate in power systems and automation. He has been working at the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China since October 2010. From March 2014 to March 2015, he was a visiting scholar/postdoctoral fellow at the Department of Energy Technology, Aalborg University, Denmark, engaged in hierarchical coordination control of smart microgrids, including flexible grid connection technology for new energy systems such as photovoltaics and wind power. Research on power quality control and power electronic device control strategies based on DSPACE and RTDS real-time simulation systems. He is a senior member of IEEE, a member of IEEE Industrial Electronics Society/Power Electronics Society/Power and Energy Society/Industrial Application Society, a member of European Power Electronics Society (EPE), and a senior member of China Electrical Engineering Society/China Electrotechnical Society/China Power Supply Society. Member of the Power Quality Committee/DC Power Supply Committee/New Energy Conversion Committee/Youth Working Committee of the China Power Supply Society, a member of the Sichuan Power Supply Society, and a member/director of the Sichuan Power Electronics Society. Served as an editorial board member of the foreign SCI journal "Journal of Power Electronics".
Smain Femmam

Research Interests: Characterization of texture; haptic rendering; DSP; real-time interface; real-time transmission; coding and classification; modeling; identification; adaptive control; parametric spectral estimation; time frequency; wavelets; time-space; multifractals; segmentation; failure detection and compensation; diagnosis; developing mathematical algorithms, perception and; recognition of the environment; Zigbee sensor networks.
Smain FEMMAM is Director of research at the University of Haute-Alsace France and responsible of the Research team on Signals & Safety Systems of Polytechnic Engineers School Sceaux France. He received the MS and Ph.D. degrees in Signal Processing and Computers from Versailles University, France in 1997 and 1999 respectively. Since 2013 he is promoted to a rank of senior director of research (HDR). After that, he joined the CMU Carnegie Mellon University & West Virginia University as Postdoc Fellow and Distinguished Visiting Professor. His main research area is signal processing, safety systems, communication and embedded systems. He has a strong interest in perception and characterization of signals, optimal filtering, spectral analysis, wavelets and perception haptics. Dr. Femmam is a senior member of IEEE, SEE and GDR ISIS. Member of IEEE C.A. committee France section. Board of Director of the Institute for Engineering and Technology Innovations in the World. He has guided numerous thesis projects, including some doctoral theses. He is active reviewer for several scientific academic journals and committee member of international conferences. He is the (Academic, Chief) Editor-in-Chief, Editor, Editorial Board, Guest Editor & Advisory Board members of more than 20 International Journals. He has authored and co-authored more than 90 papers, four Chapters, one edited Book, seven Books published by Wiley & Elsevier.
