Mahmud Fotuhi Firuzabad

Mahmud Fotuhi-Firuzabad (Fellow, IEEE) received the B.Sc. degree in electrical engineering from the Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran, in 1986, the M.Sc. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Tehran, Tehran, Iran, in 1989, and the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from the University of Saskatchewan, Canada, in 1993 and 1997, respectively. He is a Professor with the Electrical Engineering Department, Sharif University of Technology, and a Visiting Professor with Aalto University, Espoo, Finland. Dr. Fotuhi-Firuzabad is a Member of the Center of Excellence in Power System Control and Management with the Electrical Engineering Department. He also is the Fellow of The World Academy of Sciences (TWAS) and the Associate Fellow of the Iran National Academy of Sciences. He is the Member of IEEE Power and Energy Society from 1994.
